There has been some fun discussion on the Stained Glass Forum concerning cutting glass under water with scissors.
Since it has been stipulated there that it is possible, I thought it a worthy suggestion for the next conference to have a glass cutting competition based on this pervasive and pernicious concept. I'm pretty sure the first prize would have to be a new pair of scissors. - Tod

Sounds like a fun bar game in the evening, if it does not happen officially. Tod are you coming this year? Maybe you could bring scissors one night to the bar. Come early, we may not want the children running with scissors later.

You think they'd allow crunching up glass with the wrong tools in the bar? Alas, it ain't gonna happen at the hotel!

Only 2 feet here, but that makes really big piles. My big boulder fire pit is under a 5' pile right now. I am SOOOOOOO tired of shoveling. And we are not getting our normal warm (relative term) winds. It is just staying stupid cold, between -20 and -40. I console myself with believing someone somewhere is wearing sandals and shorts.

I think this is really just grozing with scissors. Another neat trick is to score a piece of glass then back away from the score and tap it with a hammer. With enough attempts with enough disposable glass, you can knock a circular hole in it. I did it a few times in when I worked in a picture framing shop.
