SORRY to all who submitted your views regarding the use old lead vs. new lead in restoration--Vic, Art, Susanna, CZ, Dan Maher, and Mary. The lively discussion made for great article, but as you probably know, Glass Craftsman has gone out of business. Glass Art declined to pick it up saying it was too AGG oriented. (insult!) However, miraculously, I still got paid for it. I'll try to share the love at the auction.

Sorry again, Nonnie

Judy, it't truly just a reprint of the discussion under "Repair and Restoration" called Save it or Strip It. I had posed a question about the best approach to leading old windows. A lively discussion ensued which I put into the article almost in its entirety. The only thing I added was an introductory paragraph. I can send it to you, but you'll get just as much from reading the post if not more.

Cheers from beautiful Corning, New York where I'm taking a fusing class, Nonnie

Nonnie,
How long are you in Corning for? My studio is only 10 miles from there.

Nonnie,

Is there a woman named Terri Stanely in your class?  I think she is taking a fusing class at corning right now.  If so, tell her Kathy Jordan said "Hello"!

Scott, too bad I didn't drive myself or I would love to pop by! What a beautiful area to live and work. (Especially when a person's from Baltimore--home of "The Wire" and "Homicide: Life on the Street." ) I love it here.

Kathy, she's not in my class but if I meet her in one of the others I'll be sure to say hello! :)
