I got a postcard advertising this magazine and thought I'd pass it on.    This is not an endorsement as I don't know anything about the publisher.  I copied this from their website http://www.artglassquarterly.com

"Art Glass Quarterly will feature four high-quality issues annually. They are beautifully designed and printed, rich in color and detail, showcasing the most excellent artists and Art Glass in the world. Far from being disposable magazines, the quarterlies are longstanding, permanent displays of art glass, ideas, and information. They will be collected for years to come.

"The Mission of World ART GLASS QUARTERLY is to be the International leader in educating and showcasing the world’s finest Art Glass"

I received the premier issue today.  It's of "coffee table" quality.  Excellent photography.   Lots of high quality hot glass, fusing, slumping, sandblasting and some leaded glass.   There are ten feature articles which are well illustrated.    I believe this magazine is well worth the cost of a subscription.

i received a complimentary copy last week, i am not sure if this is the premier issue as it is labeled as "volume 2".

i agree with Maria, the photos are nice and vivid. the over all look is well done and most interesting to me is how it showcases the diversity of Art Glass. at least in this issue, they have equal coverage for stained, blown, fusing, kiln casting and even some isane neon sculpture. i have always felt that most of the "art glass rags" don't give our beloved stained glass the respect it deserves, this one seems different.

i say it is worth checking out.
