Subject: Tax Deductions for Donating Your Own Work

The following came to me and I agree wholeheartedly:
"If there was ever a time for artists/artisans to support legislation this is it.
The artist deduction bill (S.548) would give artist the right to deduct the fair market value of their work when donating it to a charity. Right now artists/artisans can only deduct the material costs of
creating their work.
