After creating a foil panel (after patina and waxing).  A month will go by and we will notice the solder will be coated with something that looks like corrosion.  It can be easily steel wooled off and then re patina and wax, but it returns.

Any ideas on what this might be?  We've seen it on panels from students and other sources, any ideas...

Have you tried using patina and flux neuralizer? If you don't use these and any residue is left on the panel It could start to corrode.
