I also use the Rainbow Lampblack but I mix it with a little linseed oil. When mixing the dry lampblack it takes a little more to color the putty dark. For some reason when mixed with linseed oil it takes less to color the putty dark and it mixes easier. If the putty is too thin a little whiting added firms it right back.   Dan

What is the difference between regular contractors glazing and stained glass cement.  I ordered the wonder putty but am hesitant to use it to cement my came... I work with boiled linseed, whiting, and use RIT black to dye.  I like my putty the consistancy of window glazing.  Any answers?
