I'm trying to locate information about studios active in KY, OH, etc in the 19th and early 20th c. Do you know of any web resources or printed texts showing studio locations and "styles" of the glass they produced? Many thanks!

If you contact SGAA and get a copy of Bob Jones book on bios of stained glass people in the US, you can read through and find those who did work in Ohio ....don't know about Kentucky, but Ohio for sure.  The Ohio Historical Society has a quarterly publication and some time ago they featured the von Gerichten studio.  Do a Google search and I am sure you will find some information about them.  Also talk to Gary Helf at Franklin Art Glass in Columbus about his grandfather's involvement in St. Gl.

In Cinncinati -Riordan & Company, from about 1870 to 1970, more or less.  There are some Riordan windows here in Michigan as documented by the Michigan Stained Glass Census.    http://museum.msu.edu/museum/msgc/

Riordan and Company, with all records and assests were proudly purchased by Beau Verre Studios in Watertown, Ohio.  They have a beautiful studio in a refurbished bank building downtown Watertown and I am sure are in the phone directory.  Jay and Linda Moorman would probably be very happy to assist if they can.  Look them up, very nice people.
