This book is excellent for those wanting some colorful & basic historic info about stained glass. Do not worry, the authors are not hacks or opportunists. You won't regret owning this one: it's fun & inspiring and a great addition to your growing sg library.
The book covers glass about from the history of sand thru the various "ages" to "contemporary glass" (published in 1976) including a look at repair/restoration. Quite ambitious, sure, but the zillions of colorful pics make it entertaining & its "coffee table" size makes it very easy & enjoyable to just open, read & learn.
I have seen this book on ebay from 25ยข to well over $50. This "good condition" copy is $4.99 ("buy it now") with free shipping!
