I am not asking anyone to do a ton of research, but I cannot find a birth and death date for French stained glass artist Auguste Labouret.  Does anyone have a book where this might be listed?  There is one web site I came across, but it would not translate from French into English without causing my computer to seize up.  Thanks.  Barbara in Michigan.

He was born Laon, 20th March 1871. There's a bit about him with a pic of him and a list of his achievements at http://www.docantic.com/fr/article.php3?id_article=17 with stuff about him being a knight of the Legion of Honour. Will scoot around Google and see when he died.

Died Crozon Finistère on the 13th Feb 1964. Studied Ecole des Beaux-Arts
and Louvre, opened own studio 1902. Work all over the world, including basilica in Quebec. Closed it 1962, 2 years before he died. There is a museum with a section devoted to his life and work - [font=""]musée d'Hirson.

Ma plaisir - I like a little excercise for the brain!
