I have a little favor to ask of you and I  wonder if you have some information you could help me with.   I will be talking about 19th Century English amateur glaziers and the conservation of amateur windows at the AGG conference in Asheville.   I wonder if you know of any American amateur stained glass glazier practicing during the 19th century.  I am particular interested in Vicars or their wife’s/daughters or even ordinary parishioners who took to the glass cutter and painting brush designing and making their own window without any formal training.  Using an American example would open the talk up a little making it more interesting to the audience.

A name, date, place and a couple of images would be sufficient.

I look forward hearing from you in due course

Kind regards

Tom Kupper
