Hope everyone had as much fun as I did!
If you haven't returned an evaluation form yet, please do so - all those received by 15th August will get entered in to the drawing for 50% off next year's conference fee.
Lost it? Let me know and I'll send another.

That's your evaluation? Oh, OK.
Nonnie has 4 pickled Biltmore swans on her website - pickled in the sense of possessing pickles, not the British sense of being drunk, since the winery hadn't yet opened...

I'm a Tundra Swan. :) And migrating home today. Should arrive home around 4am Tennessee time. What do you think the odds of loosing my luggage are. I'll ride 4 planes today.
I'll fill out your evaluation in the comfort of my own quiet little pond.
Thanks for all your work this year Rona. And for the work you are doing for the next conference.Last edited on Fri Jul 29th, 2011 02:00 pm by Judy K

Hello everyone-
I just wanted to say what a fantastic time I had at the conference!
I was slightly racked with nerves heading into it, (it being my first conference) but the warmth and openness of the entire group, made for such an enjoyable experience.
I also wanted to thank everyone who worked so incredibly hard on putting it all together! Definitely not an easy task, but it was seamless.
I look forward to Pittsburgh, and perhaps some studio visits in the meantime!

Meredith, You were a delight! I am so glad you came. The more young people we can attract the better. The knowledge and passion for glass gathered together at these conferences is just begging to be passed on to the young.
So glad you'll be returning. Bring your friends.

I really enjoyed the conference! It was great to see everyone and get a snapshot of the state of stained glass today. Can't wait for Pittsburgh! M

It is at this point in my life that I wish I had actually read the book The Velveteen Rabbit. I know it has something to do with an animal becoming real....
