The AGG Conference at Bryn Athyn College will be a departure from our customary hotel based conferences. The main overnight accommodations will be in the dorm suites on the campus of the college. As Rick Prigg so eloquently put it, "We're not just visiting a National Historic Landmark - we're staying there!" Just to clarify that - the suites are not historic, they were built less than 5 years ago and have plenty of modern amenities like Air conditioning/WIFI/Flat Screen TVs etc- check out these candid photos: https://www.flickr.com/photos/aggmember/sets/72157631680179915/
Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the complete lodging instructions on the Conference Blog: http://agg2014.blogspot.com/p/lodging.html

These are shared accommodations. Each Suite is comprised of 3 individual rooms (with separate keys). There are 2 doubles with twin beds and 1 single per suite. The three rooms share a bath and a kitchen/livingroom which you can see in the photos. Each "room" within the suite rents for $85 per night - two people can share a double for $42.50 each. A set of towels & linens are provided but there is no maid service.
I am starting this thread so people can hook up with roommates before you reserve your suite. All accommodations need to be booked directly with Bryn Athyn College:

FOR ON CAMPUS HOUSING CONTACT:

There are also 2 hotels "nearby" at which the conference committee has reserved a block of rooms. However as conference chair I am strongly encouraging everyone who can to stay on campus. There are no summer classes in session and we will have the college to ourselves. I anticipate the lively after hours discussions which typically take place in the hotel bar can easily take place by the fire pit, the terrace fountain or at the outdoor tables which overlook the beautifully landscaped grounds. Feel free to BYOB. As a reminder your conference registration includes a full meal package so all your needs will be taken care of for the length of your stay. If you have any specific concerns please feel free to contact me. I look forward to seeing you at "Glastopia"!
